ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of our client, a company in the production of plastic packaging material, is seeking a Shift Maintenance Technician.
📌 Location: Scimatari, Voiotia
🖋️You will be reporting to: Maintenance Supervisor
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
The Afternoon Shift Technician ensures the continuous, safe, and efficient operation of production machinery during the afternoon shift through preventive and corrective maintenance, timely troubleshooting of mechanical/electrical issues, and systematic monitoring of equipment. They contribute to the improvement of the production process and adherence to safety standards within the plastics manufacturing industry.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform preventive maintenance on production machines according to established schedules.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults.
- Monitor equipment operation and immediately report deviations or hazards to the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Record maintenance actions and update relevant logs/shift records.
- Support the production team with technical issues or machine adjustments.
- Apply safety and quality rules, ensuring proper use of tools and equipment.
- Participate in projects aimed at improving the production process and maintaining supporting infrastructure.
- Collaborate with morning and night shift teams to ensure proper handover and communication of completed tasks.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Graduate of University/Technical Institute/Vocational School or High School with an electrician or maintenance technician specialty.
- At least 3 years of experience in an industrial production or maintenance environment.
- Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to identify and diagnose faults in industrial equipment.
- Proficient use of measurement and maintenance tools.
