Financial Controller Professional

ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of its client, a leading manufacturer with specialization in motorcycle production, is seeking a Financial Controller.

 📌 Location: Athens, Greece    
📍 Working Model: On site
🖋️ You will be reporting to:  Finance Manager


Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting
  • Provide accurate and timely financial information to management in P&L (Sales, Margin) and BS (payables, receivables, inventory, cash) items.
  • Analyze financial data to support decision-making.
  • Evaluate financial performance and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • IFRS 16 reporting.
  • Create company presentations when needed.
  • Participate actively in MyDATA reporting.
  • Ensure compliance of accounting postings with relevant accounting standards and regulations (local GAAP & IFRS).
  • Ensure compliance with finance policy/updates and reporting requirements of the company.
  • Utilize SAP systems and company’s ERP to operate financial processes and reporting.
  • Perform variance analysis and provide explanation to the managing team.
  • Preparing ad-hoc reports for the management.
  • Cooperation with all Company's departments to understand business issues.
  •  Assist in month end/year end closing.
  • Ensure that accruals postings are made by the accounting department providing guidance.
Budgeting and Forecasting
  • Work with departments to create accurate and realistic financial forecasts and Budget.
  • Administration of all related files and submission of final FC/Budget to SAC
  • Provide insights and analysis on budget/FC variances
Controls
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting and cost center accounting.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Monitor Transfer Prices Targets by performing TP simulations.
  • Supervise promo actions.

Audit Support
  • Cooperate with external auditors for statutory and tax audits.
  • Provide necessary documentation and explanations to auditors.


Candidate profile requirements:
  • BSc degree in Finance/Accounting or Economics
  • 3-5 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and controlling positions
  • Accounting knowledge & IFRS understanding
  • ERP knowledge (SAP Knowledge would be considered an asset)
  • Proficiency in English, both written & spoken
  • Proficient user of MS Office, especially in Excel
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in a multinational company will be appreciated
