Job description

​​​​​​ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of its client — a construction company with extensive experience in the construction and management of private-sector projects, providing integrated solutions for retail stores and food & beverage spaces — is seeking a Civil Engineer or Electrical/ Mechanical Engineer.

📌 Location: Athens
🖋️ Reports to: Site Manager
 

Responsibilities:

• Execution and coordination of daily site activities in accordance with the approved schedule.
• Continuous supervision of subcontractors’ work, with emphasis on quality, accuracy, and compliance with technical requirements.
• Contribution to addressing and resolving technical issues arising during construction.
• Monitoring project progress in relation to construction drawings and technical specifications.
• Organization, control, and proper allocation of materials and equipment to site teams.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and timely reporting of potential risks.
• Continuous communication and collaboration with subcontractors and work crews to ensure smooth project execution.
• Support in supervising specialized technical works, such as structural and electromechanical installations.
• Preparation and submission of reports regarding project progress, deviations from plan, and any issues encountered.
• Providing technical guidance and support to site personnel, when required.
• Monitoring of project costs.
• Preparation of invoices/accounts for clients.
• Measurement of works and certifications/payments to subcontractors.
 

Required Qualifications:

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering (University/Technological Institute).
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Required knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Knowledge of cost control and cost monitoring is desirable.
• Strong team management and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel within Greece (desirable).
• Valid driving license.
