We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Refunds Assistant to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing electronic payments, handling customer refunds, and resolving financial transaction issues efficiently and in line with company policy. This role requires strong communication skills, excellent time management, and a high level of discretion.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and verify electronic customer payments
- Confirm deposits from both B2C and B2B customers
- Record B2B customer deposits in internal systems
- Process refunds for online orders accurately and in a timely manner
- Update and maintain customer account records
- Handle and prevent fraudulent transactions (Fraud Management)
- Manage cases involving payment disputes and chargebacks
- Address customer financial inquiries and issues
- Support store network with electronic payment-related matters
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in accordance with company policies
- Prepare regular reports related to transactions and refunds
Qualifications:
- University degree in Economics, Business Administration, Accounting or related field
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel)
- Good command of the English language
- Previous experience with SAP, Nexus, RightNow, or CSC systems will be considered an asset
- Confidentiality and a strong sense of responsibility
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving orientation
- Team player with attention to detail
