The Role

As an Assistant Product Manager in the commercial department, you will play a vital role in managing our product categories. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Supports the formulation of the product assortments for products, ensuring that they align with our commercial strategies 
  • Manages and maintains the product code list for liability categories 
  • Handles order advice and correct stock quantities per product code 
  • Coordinates and monitors the execution of promotional activities in both our physical stores and e-commerce platforms 
  • Supports the preparation and communication of various commercial reports, including market analysis, sales trends, profitability, and stock management 
  • Monitors and analyzes the competition and supports the formulation of pricing policy 

Qualifications: 

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree (BSc) in Business Administration, Finance, Statistics, or a related field 
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the purchasing department of a commercial company. Experience in the retail industry is a plus. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel (XLS) for data analysis and reporting 
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language, both written & oral 
  • Effective communication, teamwork, analytical thinking, critical thinking, organizational skills, and the ability to take initiatives 
  • Commercial and strategic thinking 
  • Enthusiasm, results orientation, drive, and self-motivation 

Desirable qualifications: 

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field 
  • Experience as an SAP user or proficiency in similar software systems 
  • An inclination towards end-to-end responsibility and detail orientation 
  • A strong team spirit, the ability to take initiatives, and an innovative mindset
