🖋️You will be reporting to: GMCI Planning Manager
Your work will include:
As a Strategic Planning Associate, you will support the business with data-driven insights, forecasting, and performance analysis, contributing to informed commercial and strategic decisions.
More specifically:
- Track and analyze volume, value, and market share performance, identifying key drivers, risks, and opportunities
- Monitor market trends, consumer dynamics, and competitive activity, translating insights into actionable recommendations
- Support demand forecasting through data analysis, assumptions building, and tracking performance versus plan
- Contribute to pricing analysis, scenario simulations, and sensitivity assessments
- Support the development and follow-up of business cases, including post-implementation performance tracking
- Prepare clear, insightful reports and dashboards for management and key stakeholders
- Collaborate closely with Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain, and Marketing teams to ensure alignment and data consistency
- Proactively identify data gaps, improvement opportunities, and process enhancements
- Ensure high standards of data accuracy, consistency, and analytical rigor
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a related field
- Master’s Degree will be considered an asset
- 2–3 years of experience in a similar analytical or strategic planning role
- Strong analytical and cognitive ability to build forecasting and performance tracking models
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and accuracy
- Ability to manage time effectively, work under pressure, and adapt to change
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive, proactive, and constructive attitude
