What you will do:
The IT Technical Support Assistant is an entry-level role responsible for providing technical support to employees and users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and assisting with network maintenance. The role also involves daily back-office and operational tasks, contributing to the overall efficiency of the IT department.
More specifically:
- Provide first-line technical support to users via phone, email, and ticketing system
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals
- Perform routine maintenance and updates on hardware and software
- Support basic network troubleshooting (connectivity issues, network equipment)
- Assist users with Google Workspace applications (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, etc.)
- Use basic Python scripting to help automate simple internal IT tasks
- Provide guidance and basic training to users on IT tools and systems
- Support daily back-office operations of the Supply Chain department, ensuring smooth handling of internal processes
- Work on a daily basis with reports and data using MS Office and Google Workspace
- Perform basic SAP-related tasks such as downloading reports, conducting daily checks, and managing documents
- Contribute to a technology-driven environment that leverages modern Google tools and AI-enabled solutions to enhance productivity and workflows
What we are looking for:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in IT or a related field is preferred
- Basic understanding of computer hardware and software
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies
