What you will do:
As an IT Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating installations, system integrations, upgrades, and all related projects involving the company’s innovative products that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency in the manufacturing sector and modern retail environments.
More specifically you will:
- Manage and oversee technical projects related to installations, system integrations, and product upgrades in client environments.
- Coordinate the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of POS systems, Integrated weighing and labeling systems, queue management solutions, digital signage, self-service kiosks, in-store information systems, and more.
- Plan and execute integration projects between the company’s solutions and clients’ internal systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, loyalty, or analytics platforms).
- Collaborate closely with clients in the Retail and FMCG sectors to understand business and technical requirements, ensuring smooth end-to-end implementation.
- Supervise internal and external technical teams (installation, support, R&D, and development) to ensure successful delivery.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, maintaining high standards of quality and reliability.
- Identify potential risks, propose corrective actions, and ensure operational continuity for clients.
- Work closely with the R&D department to plan and execute new product rollouts, integrations, and software releases.
- Report project progress, challenges, and resource needs directly to the General Manager.
Requirements
- A BSc/MSc degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
- 5-8 years of experience in managing technical, installation, or system integration projects.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructures, POS, ERP, CRM, and retail software systems.
- Proven experience coordinating multiple projects and technical teams.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel when required.
Any experience in the following will be considered an asset:
- Certification or hands-on experience in Agile / PMP methodologies.
- Experience in technology implementations for the manufacturing sector.
- Experience in multi-site rollouts for retail or supermarket chains.
- Knowledge of system architecture, networking, APIs, and IoT-based retail solutions.
