Job Description
So, what are the main duties of an IT Payments Applications Administrator in Netcompany?
As an IT Payments Applications Administrator, you will:
- Configure and maintain critical payment platforms, ensuring accurate system parametrization, timely upgrades, patches, and successful integrations.
- Collaborate with vendors to ensure ongoing system support, effective project execution, and compliance with regulatory and technical standards.
- Provide day-to-day support, including troubleshooting, issue resolution or escalation, and thorough documentation to meet service level agreements (SLAs).
- Support project activities by working closely with IT and business units to design, implement, integrate, and test changes related to payment systems.
Qualifications
What would make you a fit for the role:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in application support or administration roles, preferably within the banking sector.
- Basic knowledge of Linux and SQL for effective system support and troubleshooting.
- Experience with system integration in complex IT environments.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with both internal teams and external vendors.
- Business-oriented and functional mindset, focused on delivering practical, value-driven solutions.
- Fluency in Greek and English.
It would also be a plus if you match some of the following:
- Knowledge of international payment ecosystems, including familiarity with SWIFT, SEPA, and TIPS payment systems and formats.
- Developer skills (not required, but advantageous for the position).
