What you will do:
As a Back-End Developer, you will join a dynamic engineering team and you will contribute to the design, development, and optimization of scalable backend systems that support innovative communication solutions for public and private sector clients. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build reliable, secure, and high-performing digital platforms that enable data-driven services and seamless user experiences.
More specifically you will
- Participate in the design, development, and maintenance of scalable RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Participate in the design and optimization of database schemas, ensuring efficient query performance and data integrity.
- Participate in the implementation of secure workflows, authentication protocols, and integrations with third-party systems.
- Work closely with frontend, DevOps, and solution architecture teams to ensure end-to-end system reliability and performance.
- Write comprehensive unit, integration, and performance tests to maintain high code quality and reliability.
- Track application health, analyze logs, and resolve production issues proactively.
- Maintain clear technical documentation and contribute to internal best practices and process improvements.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 2–3 years of professional experience in backend development.
- Strong proficiency in at least one backend programming language (preferably Java, alternatively PHP, Javascript or Python).
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles and microservices architecture.
- Experience with RDBMSs including query optimization.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD workflows (GitHub, GitLab, or similar).
- Knowledge of testing frameworks and test-driven development (TDD).
- Understanding of backend security practices and data protection standards.
- Experience with message queuing systems (RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka).
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Understanding of event-driven architecture.
- Knowledge of modern authentication standards (OAuth2, JWT).
